Why manual entry?
Lucidio uses manual entry instead of lab-report upload or camera scanning for privacy and accuracy. Lab reports can contain sensitive personal health information, and OCR/camera scanning can sometimes read numbers incorrectly. By entering only the test name, value, unit, and reference range yourself, you stay in control of what information is used.
Camera or upload scanning may be added in the future only with strong privacy protections and user confirmation before interpreting any result.
